UFC Prohibited the Vuvuzelas in UFC 116

As the world prepares for the biggest heavyweight title fight in the last two decades, the Ultimate Fighting Championship ® issued a surprising announcement today which will undoubtedly have global impact. UFC President Dana White confirmed that the vuvuzela, that annoying and noisy devices infamously used by South African fans in it the World Cup this year, have been banned at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday.

So, when UFC heavyweight Brock Lesnar enters the cell to face interim belt holder Shane Carwin in the heavyweight fight more important since the era of Ali, fans have to rely on their voices, hands, and feet to support your favorite athlete.

"This decision was very simple for me," said White. "Vuvuzela make the most horrifying noise I've ever heard. And I prefer to let Brock take a punch in the face to hear 15,000 people blow these devices. This is the biggest fight of heavyweights who ever had done. We will make enough noise this weekend when Brock and Shane finally put foot inside the Octagon. "
