UFC president Dana White revealed that welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre confirmed that he will fight with middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, but it seems that the Brazilian business has yet to be resolved first.
In interview on Off the Record TSN Canadian channel, Dana said:
"GSP told me, I will fight him [Anderson] now. If you want to do this fight, do battle. GSP is not concerned in a special way in a fight against Anderson Silva. "
"First of all, Anderson Silva has two fighters that he needs to win, he needs to beat Chael Sonnen and, probably, Vitor Belfort, Vitor must win his next fight, another problem is that Georges St.Pierre is a 170 lbs natural. Anderson Silva was cut weight to fight at 185 lbs, and when he fought at 205 lbs. This is a type of fight that has no sense to me. But if many people want to see it, I'll do that. "
As we said before that fight must have a special promotion, Dana plans to make this fight in a stadium, and plans to sell more than 50,000 revenue due to strong interest in this fight.
