The former title contender Joe Stevenson has withdrawn from his fight with Takanori Gomi in the UFC on Versus 2, prepared for the August 1 in San Diego, California, by a knee injury, the developer already has a replacement.
According to Dave Meltzer, "Daddy" will be replaced by Tyson Griffin, Xtreme Couture, who wants to prove after being controlled for 3 rounds by the ultra-talented Evan Dunham.
To Gomi, the former PRIDE champion has to prove to fans that is the same, after losing by submission in the third round on his debut for the top Kenny Florian.
