It has been revealed that exciting UFC light heavyweight up-and-comer, Jon Jones turned down the chance to step into the octagon with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira when the promotion was notified about Forrest Griffin’s injury.

According to the report by Yahoo!Sports.com, the man from New York explained to Dana White and his team that he hadn’t been in the gym since he defeated Brandon Vera at UFC on Versus 1 on March 21^st in Broomfield, Colorado.
