Video: Chuck Liddell vs Rich Franklin (KO of the Night)

Last night, in the fight of UFC star 115, the UFC middleweight former champion Rich "Ace" Franklin was victorious by knocking out the 4:55 of the first assault on the former champion also (heavyweight) and Hall of Fame UFC Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell, who came into this fight in the best shape of his career.

The fight begins with the exchange of blows and kicks, Liddell seeing more aggressive than Franklin. They go to the clinch for a moment and connects Franklin separated a few hits. Liddell throws a head kick but misses. Return to exchange punches and Liddell with a takedown surprised, but Franklin manages to join. Liddell connects strong right hand to face hurting, but Franklin recovers quickly. With just five seconds to finish the round Liddell launches reconnect looking forward right hand and received a straight Franklin who sent him to the canvas unconscious.

After the fight was appreciated a broken left forearm Franklin. When questioned about the injury Franklin said it happened at the beginning of the fight when he received a strong kick from Liddell.

During the press conference following the function, to which Liddell did not attend because he had been taken to hospital for a review, UFC president Dana White said this was his last fight, Liddell is expected to agree and think you will to be.

Dana White later spoke in an interview with MMA Fighting. He was proud of the seriousness with which Chuck took the fight to get in great shape to it, praised the effort she put in trying to knock Franklin kicking and pulling his head and go for the takedown. When questioned about the removal of Liddell said "I guarantee that tonight was the last night."
