James Toney Signing With UFC

He is one of the most recognized fighters in the last 25 years, a future Hall of Famer who holds titles in three different divisions. But now he wants to climb a mountain when he takes over the warriors of mixed martial arts UFC.

In a few months, Dana White is ready to give James Toney this potential, and they signed the contract this week.

"Many professional boxers make much noise about how they would fare in MMA, but none have done at the level of James Toney now prove what he said," White said. "He is a legend, his record as a boxer speaks for itself and is a person whom I respect very much. Now he intended to fight in MMA and has the right attitude so we will see that tape."

Possessing an incredible record of 72-6-3 (2 NC) that includes 44 KO's, James Toney, 41, is respected throughout the boxing world for his old-school attitude. That means you fight with whoever and whenever.

He was champion middleweight, super middleweight and cruiserweight.

Chris Lytle, Marcus Davis and Alessio Sakara were also boxers, but the first time a boxer with the level and respect the world that has never set foot Toney octagon.
