UFC light heavyweight contender, Thaigo Silva has realised that aggressiveness alone will not get him through when he steps into the octagon this January against former champion, Rashad Evans at UFC 108, saying he needs a smart game plan as well.
Speaking to Tatame Magazine, Silva said:
“Everybody knows that I’m an aggressive fighter, but I realized that we have to be aggressive, but smart too. I’ll study his game and find the easiest way to get the victory and I’ll be done.”
Silva rebounded from his only defeat of his career in January by knocking out Keith Jardine at UFC 102 in the very first round. Now he looks to take another step towards redemption and a rematch with Machida by defeating Evans in just a few weeks time.

UFC peso pesado ligero, Thaigo Silva ha dado cuenta de que la agresividad por sí solo no lo conseguirá a través de los pasos, cuando en el octágono de este mes de enero contra el ex campeón, Rashad Evans en UFC 108, diciendo que necesita un plan de juego inteligente también.
En declaraciones a la revista TATAME, Silva dijo:
"Todo el mundo sabe que soy un boxeador agresivo, pero me di cuenta de que tenemos que ser agresivos, pero inteligentes. Voy a estudiar su juego y encuentre la manera más fácil de conseguir la victoria y voy a hacer ".
Silva se recuperó de su única derrota de su carrera en enero por golpear a Keith Jardine en UFC 102 en la primera ronda. Ahora parece dar otro paso hacia la redención y una revancha con Machida, al derrotar a Evans en tan sólo unas pocas semanas.
